2 – Broccoli for arthritis
Study results reveal that a compound found in broccoli known as sulforaphane could prevent or slow down the progression of osteoarthritis. It was discovered that a joint damaging enzyme is blocked by sulforaphane.[5]
Anti-arthritis broccoli smoothie: 1/2 x broccoli head, 1/2 x medium pineapple, 1 x tablespoon coconut oil, 1 x teaspoon turmeric, 3 x medium carrots, 1 x sprig fresh parsley.
