9. Socialize to help prevent dementia
Social activities, like going out with friends, going to the theater, and meeting new people actually stimulate your brain. When you do this, your brain creates new neural connections, which can help prevent or delay dementia.
What to do: Make time to see your friends and family, and go out and try to meet new people! You’ll learn about new hobbies and will be exposed to more cultures and backgrounds, which will help make you a better-rounded person.
